Tiffany knight

Born in Lethbridge Alberta, Tiffany was drawn to dancing at the age of 5 after accompanying her Mother to a show at Joy’s Dance Factory.  While her Mother was on stage she made a pact with another little girl; at the next year end show, it would be them on the stage and their Mothers would be watching in the audience. Four years later, Tiffany had moved to Toronto to study at the internationally acclaimed, National Ballet School. Upon Graduation, she apprenticed with The National Ballet of Canada, the country’s largest and most revered classical ballet company, and became a full time member in 1995. Within 2 years she was performing soloist roles in such ballets as Paquita, Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and The Sleeping Beauty. By the year 2000, she was promoted to second soloist and enjoyed leading roles in more contemporary ballets such as Serenade, Solitaire, Les Sylphides, Company B, Jewels, Theme and Variations, and the world premier of Matjash Mrozewski’s A Delicate Battle.

Tiffany retired in the season of 2004, and retrained in various acting schools in Toronto and has appeared in such television series as, Tilt, Zoe Busiek Wildcard, Billable Hours, and Beautiful People. She has also been in the MOW: Zoya, and  most recently, the feature film Chloe, directed by Atom Egoyan. She was nominated for a Gemini award in 2005 for the dance film The Year of the Lion directed by Moze Mossanen.
